Living Alone Realities
"There are some places in life where you can only go alone. Embrace the beauty of your solo journey" -Mandy Hale
When you were a kid, have you thought of living alone? Are you one of those kids who wondered what it feels like to be independent? If yes, then feel free to continue reading this blog created by yours truly.
ADVANTAGES OF LIVING ON YOUR OWN: reference: (https://medium.com/swlh/11-good-reasons-for-choosing-to-live-alone-57a432ec8aa5)
- A chance to become stronger and independent
- You are your own boss
- No one to judge you
- Privacy and personal space
- Don't need to compromise
- Acceptance about yourself
- You'll learn to enjoy your own company
- You'll learn to be yourself
These advantages stated above are all facts. You will probably learn to become an independent person gradually as time goes by. Many things would happen to you and strange realities will give you lessons to learn and realizations about yourself and especially in your life.
IF THERE ARE ADVANTAGES, WE MUST KNOW THE OPPOSITE OF IT, WHICH ARE THE FOLLOWING: reference: (https://content.wisestep.com/top-advantages-disadvantages-living-alone/)
- Lack of company
- Boring life
- Loneliness
- Lack of safety
- No one to help
In my one month of living away from the environment I used to lived, I learned a lot about myself and noticed some changes of me that I thought I cannot be. Experiencing either the pros or cons about living on your own can really taught us many things in life. It will make us realized the value of the things that we are not usually thinking of when there are someone whom we can rely on.
Being alone is sometimes sad and boring indeed but, it does not mean that we are lonely. We still can have our connection to anyone. We still can socialize to other people surrounding us. And also we can still have our time for our family even though it is not the same as we do before.
This is not to discourage anyone to choose living alone but, stating the fact of what and/or how it is to be on your own. Just like what Mandy Hale said, embrace the beauty of your solo journey.
